Worked in multiple areas of production and assembly at JCB, starting as fitter on production line and progressing to 'utility' role, covering various processes during absences and performing out-of-process work safely and effectively.

I then stepped up to the role of team leader, a job that I did for around 8 years. This job carried responsibility, as I set the standard for my team in regards to safety and quality. The role also developed a lot of skills for me that I carried into my non work life, it taught me leadership skills and gave me confidence to talk and deliver speeches and briefs in the public eye. During my time in this role I also moved around various different areas of the production system and gained a lot of product knowledge.

I then took 18 months in the role of acting Group Leader, this role was very intense and was a high pressure environment. I was now accountable for a large team of around 60. My main responsibilities in this role were to manage my teams performance over the various KPI's within the business, keep on top of overtime and payroll for my team, deal with any disciplinary issues and keep up with the daily demands of production despite many issues that are out of your control.

I then returned to shop floor as electrical rectifier on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern to develop skills in the auto electrical side of product and benefit family with flexible working hours.

Joined JCB on a temporary basis, quickly learned and applied new skills to daily tasks, improving efficiency and productivity. I demonstrated respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed, and worked hard to give myself the best opportunity of getting a full time time position

worked as part of a small team to carry out regular lawn maintenance tasks and achieved fresh looking gardens throughout the year, enhanced property appearance by creating unique and aesthetically pleasing landscapes, tree care including pruning, planting and removal when necessary maintaining safe environments, we provided continuous maintenance services securing long term client relations. The role also came with responsibility of driving the works van and often collecting money from jobs.

in this role I supported team members during peak hours to manage visitor flow effectively. Delivered clear instructions to riders for their safety and enjoyment. Upheld highest standards of health and safety at all times, minimising risk. Ensuring that the customer got the best experience possible.
