  • I was an Air Cadet in the Air Training Corps from 1978 until 1984.I then became a civilian instructor,later going into uniform as a Warrant officer and then gaining my Queens commission as an officer in the Royal Air Force volunteer reserve (training)branch.My roles involved running an ATC squadron with upto 25/30 cadets aged from 13-21 ,guiding my staff on the squadron (upto 5 members of staff )

My role to over see all aspects of Health and Safety within the school and carrying out checks on relevant paperwork ,permits ,fire drills ,Maintenance schedules etc.Implementing new Health and safety systems.
