Accomplishments

  • Being an integral part of a team to oversee the completion of a ten-year ‘future plan’ programme for the completion and refurbishment of all galleries within the Victoria and Albert Museum, with the successful handover of 26 refurbished galleries.
  • Escorting royalty and showing them around the museum and various galleries.
  • Supporting the filming of major films such as Hugo Cabaret, Tinker Tailor soldier Spy, Mordechai and Trance, within the Grade 1 listed building, without any adverse effects to the museum exhibits.
  • Introducing a monitoring system for defects and their effective implementation.
  • Whilst working at the museum, having a clean Health and Safety record.
  • Photographs I had taken being used for advertising, marketing and display purposes, enabling the museum to save money.
  • Introduced CDM and Asbestos monitoring role to the Estates Department to save using outside contractors.
  • Managing additional contractors at the Olympic Stadium with the Facilities Manager on events that occur on a regular basis.
