I started caring for my elderly mother in 2020. My main responsibilities were ordering her medication, cleaning, cooking, shopping and generally looking after her well being. In 2023 she had two strokes the second being quite severe which took some rehabilitation. As she gradually started to recover her mobility got worse so this May 2025 it was necessary to put her somewhere that could tend to her needs better than me. So I now find myself unemployed.
