Whilst in my current role as a Production Planner for Atkore, I have been able to demonstrate my skills of leadership, initiative and teamwork, ensuring the day-to-day operation runs as efficiently and smoothly as possible.

Through planning, I have been able to obtain knowledge of;

CNC Machinery - Mazak & Miyano, aswell as Auburg Injection Moulding machines.

My current role and duties as a Production Planner are;

• Presenting weekly schedules to production and operations, maximizing machinery production, efficiency and output.
• Daily reports to SLT of value catchment within plans, and forecast of future plans to hit monthly budget target for UK, Export and Intercompany sales.
• Regular monitoring of influx of demand from new projects, ensuring accurate forecasting, meaning production schedules were coherent so project deadlines could be met.
• Coordination of multiple departments to ensure fluency throughout the order process.
• Reporting and monitoring stock flow, whether that be inventory loss, adjustments or increasing.

Whilst in my role as a Wave Planner, I was able to demonstrate a vast array of skills ranging from leadership and teamwork to ensure order demands for military goods are met aswell as ascertaining the operation runs efficiently and coherently.

My main tasks and skills acquired as a Wave Planner were;

• Planning and allocation of systemic Work Groups releasing orders to Warehouse to be picked.
• Bespoke planning of work groups ensuring particular military route demands and time schedules are met.
• Managing influx of demands efficiently and productively.
• Co-ordination of small team to make sure orders are picked quickly and efficiently.
• Extensive knowledge acquired of JDA Dispatcher and IWS Management.
• Providing constant feed of information to management regarding order failures/shortages and OTIF targets.

Whilst in my role as a warehouse operative here, it taught me a variety of skills such as leadership and teamwork. These skills allowed me to ensure targets were met efficiently and coherently.

My main tasks within my role as a Warehouse Operative were;

• Fast paced picking and packing in line with targets.
• Accurate reporting of productivity through to management and cascaded down to team.
• Receiving shipments and resolving any delivery issues.
• Re-organising of Warehouse to utilise space.
• Liaising with suppliers to replenish inventory.
• Managing and maintaining any queries from external accounts regarding orders.

Whilst in my role as a Showroom Assistant, it allowed me to utilise my skills of teamwork aswell as operating as quickly and efficiently as possible ensuring customer needs were met with the highest quality level of customer service when selecting outfits.

My main tasks within my role as a Showroom Assistant were;

• Assisting customer without outfit selecting and providing any information during the fitting process.
• Managing customer invoices.
• Stock control of showroom.
