Detail-oriented professional with expertise in clerical procedures, multitasking, and effective communication. Proficient in utilising Red Prairie to streamline operations and resolve errors efficiently. Adept at maintaining accuracy and organisation in administrative tasks while ensuring seamless workflow management. Committed to leveraging skills to support operational excellence and drive organisational success.
In October 2019 I had the opportunity to join the clerical team in AMB Receipts office. I accepted this opportunity, because after almost 10 years in the warehouse, I wanted to expand my knowledge of the overall operation of the Depot, as a step towards improving my future career prospects. I have been trained and gained lots of experience of the Receipts and Stocks processes, including preparation of IDT's RTV's etc. I also have extensive experience dealing with wide range of inventory related issues such as investigating missing pallets and receipts errors, warehouse layout including assigning pick faces for new lines and moving pick faces when necessary to make space in appropriate areas. Another important task is investigating stock in suspense and when necessary checking assembled pallets to look for additional or missing cases I have a deep understanding of using the Red Prairie system, as well as DISCO / RUMBA, RSS, Yard and Zebra watches. In December 2021 I was offered a full time JS contract. Since then I have also been trained in AMB despatch office to do loading and transhipment jobs. This has also given me a wider understanding of how the shift is managed on a day to day basis by being able to see some of the tasks that the Team Managers carry out and how they prioritise the various jobs. I also have experience training new colleagues in both the Stocks & Receipts and Despatch offices.
October 2010 to July 2019 - – J Sainsbury’s Distribution Centre, Basingstoke / Staffline Agency
I started working in a warehouse for The Staffline agency. I was assigned to the CHILL department, where I was trained for assembling on the floor. This also enabled me to gain an understanding of the whole process from Receipts, Picking, Tramming and Loading. Trained to operate T16 and N20 trucks and the Loading Truck. Worked effectively with colleagues from various backgrounds, fostering a respectful work environment.
After school one of my first jobs was an Internet Cafe. My duties were to communicate with costumers and ensure a friendly atmosphere. Managing daily operations, such as coordinating reservations, monitoring the Internet usage, completing the reports, assisting customers with computer use and handling payments for services. Working on my own as well as managing team members. This was my introduction to the basics of micromanagement.
