I started working for Virgin Active Fulham as a lifeguard in April of 2018 and progressed to the position of Service manager within two months. As a service manager I oversaw the lifeguard team but also the smooth running of the building in partnership with the building services team. In September of 2018 the position for all Service managers in Virgin Active got redundant and got offered the lifeguard supervisor position, which was basically the same but with more management responsibilities.
In December of 2016 I moved to the UK and got my first job as a customer assistant in Tesco – Putney Store, and through hard work and determination in three months I managed to get the Shift leader position.
As a shift leader I oversaw the smooth running of the shop, staff Rota, stock counts as well as orders. In July of 2017 I was awarded the Tesco Super Star award and got promoted to the store manager position.
The main responsibilities within my role here were to manage the team selling car parts products through the vast online system that the company has built. I oversaw the training and development of the staff members through their Academy courses and dealt with daily stock management checks and made sure the whole operation ran smoothly. I oversaw the stock deliveries, till and cash flow management and opening and closing the branch.
