Main duty is to provide a high quality cleaning service within the medical practice and in line with National Health Service guidelines.
My role involves cleaning all floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings and glassware.
I have to ensure the safe disposal of clinical and non clinical waste
Move furniture and equipment subject to risk assessment to enable effective access for through cleaning
maintain adequate stocks of cleaning materials, consumables and requesting further supplies from practice manager
Have to ensure building security measures are undertaken, eg making sure dispensary is double locked and that the doors are locked and alarms are unset and set accordingly
Worked the summer season 2025 and worked as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of daily operations of the vessel.
Ensured safety procedures were followed at all times by helping to direct vehicles and passengers embarking/disembarking the vessel. I always spoke to staff and passengers in a friendly manner and resolved any concerns as best as I could. An email was sent to the area manager commending my friendly nature and pleasant interaction with customers.
I worked effectively as part of a team and got on well with my colleagues both shore side and the crew of the boat too. I completed the majority of the courses required with just two that weren't able to be rescheduled within the timeframe of my seasonal contract.
