Myself and my silent business partner opened a coffee shop called Eleven Coffee in December 2021. I have been solely running the business since then.

• Solely project managed the opening and day to day running of the cafe.
• Coordinated construction planning, material resources and staff scheduling for a number of simultaneous jobs leading up to the opening of the cafe.
• Attended barista training with our suppliers to increase knowledge and skills.
• Developed food and drink menus and chose the suppliers.
• Managed coffee shop finances, including payroll, budgets, expenses, storing all data for organisation purposes.

Operations Manager across three Sheffield sites - Old Workshop, Beer Engine and Tramshed Bar&Kitchen.

• Recruited, hired and trained a number of new employees for front of house and back of house roles.
• Project managed re opening of all three sites after Covid 19 lock downs. Scheduled staff for simultaneous jobs, developed drink menus, priced menu items, programmed and launched new Epos.
• Oversaw financial management activities including accounting and payroll.
• Administered accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, daily cash reconciliation, sales reporting, invoicing and budget management.
• Ordered craft beers for all three venues working closely with wholesale suppliers.
• Managed social media accounts for all three sites.
• Oversaw maintenance of all three sites.

• Staff management including writing rotas, recruiting, training and providing feedback.
• Working to targets including GP, Staff costs and Sales.
• Ensuring key aspects of the venue are monitored to maintain high quality of service.
• Oversaw bar inventory, restocked supplies and placed orders.
• Oversaw balancing of cash registers, reconciled transactions and deposited establishment's earnings to bank each week.
• Protected business, team members and customers by monitoring alcohol consumption and keeping operation in line with legal service requirements.

Successfully completed work placement in one of the busiest restaurants in Shoreditch, London as part of my degree.
