I have worked in a health care setting for many years ,during this time I have gained a wide and varied knowledge of the service and health care setting. I have gained the confidence to enable me to work as part of a team, or on my own initiative. I get on well with colleagues, I consider my self an approachable person, I am a hard worker, and I give my best to any situation.
I currently work as a Domestic assistant in a home that provides respite care for disabled children, I work for Norse Group. My responsibilities include cleaning of bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen areas, communal area and offices, sweeping and mopping floors, also it is part of my role to wash and dry laundry. I maintain the cleanliness of the home, ensuring the areas are tidy and clutter free.
I have worked at Barnsley hospital as an Environment Coordinator. I was responsible for ensuring the ward environment is clean and tidy and clutter free, maintaining the highest of standards, following Health and Safety guidelines, ensuring the safety of patient, staff and visitors.
