  • To organise and provide high-level secretarial and servicing functions to the Social Responsibility and Civic Engagement Committee (chaired by the Vice-President for Social Responsibility), the Civic University Board (chaired by the Vice-President for Regional Innovation and Civic Engagement) and a range of other working groups and committees as and when required. These include support in planning agendas, taking minutes and distributing actions and timescales.
  • Managing and overseeing key components of high-level University activities, including Making a Difference Awards where I am responsible for applications, shortlisting, judging, guest list and overall logistics of the event itself.
  • annual Community Festival, where responsibility is taken for the recruitment, briefing and management of a large team of student ambassadors and briefings for academic and professional staff in the effective discharge of their duties on the day.
