At present, I am a second-year student at Northern Regional College studying a foundation degree in integrative counseling practice. I am a secondary school teacher. I have fifteen years of experience working with adolescents of all different backgrounds, but I also have experience providing services to other age groups. I also worked for five years as a SEN classroom assistant. My professional background and recent academic studies have complemented each other to a high degree, and consequently, I have kept expanding on and confidently demonstrated key interpersonal skills such as appropriate verbal and written communication skills, active listening, empathy, and teamwork.
