  • In my time away from work and in order to keep a good work/life balance, I like to keep a busy social life with family and friends and jogging outdoors. I also enjoy reading a good novel or going to the theatre, as I am an admirer of musicals. When possible, I like to get away and visit new cities, or if time allows, travel to a different country and explore new cultures, traditions, doing the most with local people.

Completed audit loop: Indications for requesting abdominal x-ray in emergency patients – Designed, led, collected and analysed data, presented the results, implemented change

through education sessions/posters and re-audited. This helped decrease the number of inappropriate requests from general surgery department.

Completed audit - The “Yellow form” review system in breast screening assessment – Led,

collected and analysed data, presented the results. This audit generated loads of questions and interest considering the implementation of routine tomosynthesis as part of the

assessment.

Besides these, in the past 5 years, I have been involved with 16 audit/quality improvement and research projects. Of these, I initiated the proposals for 8 and designed 12 projects.
