Summary

I am a person with great curiosity and down for whatever. I see the world as a world of possibilities and I am ready to explore new things. I don't see the point of having a job if your not doing it correctly, gaining or bettering skills from it and certanitly if your not doing it with a positive attitude! It takes a curious mind to look beneath the surface and therefore I would always resolve situations with customers to my ability, meaning I will resolve the problem by not just using the independence, empathy and logic of my own mind but by listening to my employer on ways that are most suitable to use. My good memory allows me to not forget things I have been taught even under pressure but my character will do what I can to satisfy the customer. With these skills I will get the job done effeciently. I am a good person to have as an employee and sure to keep Starbucks reputation in line and make a place people want to go back to!

  • My experience volunteering as a team member for cancer research UK was great!
  • Two skills I remember using the most is my initiative and communication skills.
  • As it was my first time I didn't know much about the event. So when people asked me questions/ directions for the Race For Life that I wasn't completely sure about I handled it well by using my initiative to get through most questions, tasks and conversations. This is a part where I used my independence very well. I also made it clear if I wasn't completely sure about some things I either asked another member on the team if they were available or nearby. If not, I managed to figure it out with the person I was talking to in a matter of seconds while becoming friends with them or simply having an enthusiastic conversation with them.
  • I improved on time management skills and team work. At the end when everyone was running through the finish line there wasn't a lot of time for everyone to receive a medal, as there was so many people, so little people on the job. As more people were coming, medals kept running out so we had to unravel lots of new boxes of medals and hand it out quickly and that was a big part of where time efficiency and team work was performed.
  • Cancer research is not like a regular paying job, its a charity done out of ones empathy towards cancer and having the passion to either help, raise money, support and so on. A great skill I can admit I have is empathy and it's that which made everyone's day a lot better, mine, the runners and team members as I put love and passion into what I was doing and getting all my tasks done properly, with great enthusiasm! I got lots of lovely feedback due to my amazing work ethic, friendliness and empathy.
