I am Maria Thomas a Registered Nurse with over five years of experience in Nursing supported by a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
I am a qualified nurse with a strong clinical foundation and hands-on experience as Nursing Supervisor, Nursing Manager and in Staff Nurse positions. Currently working as a dedicated support worker in an Education and healthcare setting at Cambian Group.
Being a nurse is more than a profession, it’s a commitment. My presence as a nurse is valuable in the most vulnerable times of a person’s life. I have received best nurse award and patient favourite nurse award for delivering excellent and person-centered care in my career.
This role has enhanced my interpersonal, observational, and patient-centered care skills, allowing me to remain actively engaged in healthcare while further developing my understanding of multidisciplinary teamwork.
I am now seeking to transition back into a registered nursing role within the NHS, where I can apply my clinical knowledge, compassion and commitment to high-quality patient care.
I am particularly motivated to work in an environment that values continuous professional development, evidence-based practice, and a strong ethical framework. My goal is to contribute positively to patient outcomes while upholding the NHS values of respect, dignity, and integrity.
I have completed all my trainings and qualifications required to join NHS during my working tenure in United Kingdom which includes Occupational English Test (OET), Computer Based Test (CBT) and Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). I am holding a full NMC registration, and I am ready to start my job on short notice.
