- I have designed field drainage schemes for major cross county pipelines projects, including 70km pipeline in Cambridgeshire.
- Designed drainage layouts using MS Excel, QGIS, and AutoCAD lt.
- Gathered, formatted and interpreted digital terrain model (DTM) and field survey datasets to create ground elevation maps, utilising ordnance survey maps and topographical shape files for drainage layout design.
- Used rainfall data and selected pipe drain flow coefficients to calculate fluid flows for various pipe design parameters.
- The drains are to be installed to maintain or restore good agricultural soil conditions in land adjacent to or within areas to be disturbed by the construction of new water pipelines.
