Linux Administrator:-

• Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting and Administration of OS’s RHEL.
• Administrations of Users and Groups.
• The primary responsibility is to carry out day-to-day tasks of system administration and monitoring and updating ticket issues through the incident management system.
• Monitoring Linux servers such as Disk space utilization, CPU utilization, Memory utilization etc.
• Linux Package management tools (rpm, yum).
• Creating VM and installing OS as per client request.
• Transfer files across the systems on the network using SFTP, SCP and rSYNC.
• Managing File Systems- Creating, Mounting, Modifying & repairing the file systems (ext3, ext4, XFS).
• Scheduling various jobs through Crontab.
• Expertise in managing shared NFS files system,mounting and un-mounting NFS server,NFS client on remote machine,starting and stopping NFS services.
• Remote administration and monitoring of the Server using the tool like SSH.
• Setting Category Permissions, Special Permissions and ACL.
• Managing and troubleshooting L1 level issues within the SLA.

AIX Administrator:-

• Monitoring AIX servers such as Disk space utilization, CPU utilization, Memory utilization etc.
• Server backups, taking mksysb on tape or on nim server for complete server (rootvg) backup.
• Managing and troubleshooting L1 level issues within the SLA.
• Experience in Upgrading, downloading Patches and installing to keep system in current maintenance level.
• Provide details of Servers and Disk usage as per client request.

Linux Administrator:-

• Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting and Administration of OS’s RHEL.
• Change ownership of file and set permissions on file system for owner,group and others.
• Installation of software and packages by using YUM server and RPM.
• Managing of partitions and file System using Logical Volume Manager and Fdisk command.
• Scheduling various jobs through Crontab.
• User Management - Creating, maintaining, and removing users and groups. Security settings on user accounts and groups, and password administering.
• Preparing RCA for the incidents.

AIX Administrator:-

• Monitoring: File system, Cluster, storage, LPARs.
• Experience in Upgrading, downloading Patches and installing to keep system in current maintenance level.
• Perform health checks on HACMP node, running cluster statistics to find cluster stability.
• Server backups, taking mksysb on tape or on nim server for complete server (rootvg) backup.
• Experience in Upgrading, downloading Patches and installing to keep system in current maintenance level.
• Performs Disk Management Functions such as Mirroring Disk.
• Maintain an inventory of system level hardware and software configuration.
