In 2014 shropshire council were closing the bradbury day centre in a bid to cut expenditure,

as i had first hand experience of the service the day centre provided i put in a bid to the trustees to take over the lease and save the closure. The Bradbury has gone from strength to strength and now supports more than 50 individuals per week primarily individuals suffering from alzheimers or a dementia related illness ,the bradbury centre provides a person centred safe space for vulnerable adults over the age of 55 years.
