Summary

I'm a friendly and confident 16 year old who is looking for a job in the restaurant industry because I enjoy working with customers and really like to be in a busy, exciting and challenging environment. I love eating out in restaurants with my family and understand how to make the experience of eating out a special one, by paying attention to their needs.

I am available to start immediately and have no holidays booked over the summer so I can help cover summer shifts if needed.

I have experience of customer service from my year 10 work-experience at an aesthetics clinic, which I enjoyed so much that they offered me an on-going casual role helping them to cover Saturdays and holidays when needed. I also enjoy volunteering as a Girl Guide young leader which has helped me build my confidence in communicating with adults and young children.

I am a strong team-player too, having spent 7 years on a cheerleading team training and competing in local and national competitions. I was a back-stop which meant I literally held my team mates in my hands while they did flying stunts, they could trust me to keep them from falling. I had to retire from that sport at 15 and instead I now enjoy keeping fit by going swimming and to the gym with my friends, plus walking my dogs when I get the time.

I have just finished my GCSE's and I'm confident that I'll get good enough grades so that I can start at Capital City London college to study A-levels in Psychology, Law and Economics. I have some leadership experience from school where I was a form captain in year 10 and 11 and part of my responsibilities were helping teachers with events such as parents evening and open days. I have also completed DofE bronze award, which improved my independence and confidence as well as my team-work.

  • I have tried to be a positive role model for the girls by being friendly and having open communication to all in my group, even the shyest in the group.
  • I help with setting up activities such as painting, cooking, setting up games and making new crafts. I also sometimes run the activities if the other leaders are busy.
  • I help clean up after the girls after every session as the local church hall left in a presentable state.
  • I have occasionally supervised the girls on trips around the local area such as Pantomime, park and fire station.
  • I like to talk to the adult leaders and occasionally the parents about how the group has got on during the session .
