Dolphin Research Intern
- Worked alongside full-time researchers, contributing and assisting field data collection by conducting surveys daily to monitor dolphins activities (including their interactions with each other as well as local fisheries)
- Successfully used GIS software to analyse the data on abundance, behavioural movement, social organisation and reproductive success that we collected during long-lasting observation sessions
- Gained a first-hand understanding of the motivations that inspire conservation, whilst solidifying my knowledge in regards to the significance and importance for protecting the marine ecosystem and its inhabitants
