Eight months ago, I was promoted from Sales Assistant to National Account Executive, reflecting my dedication within the company. As a National Account Executive, I manage a diverse client portfolio that includes major retailers such as Sainnsbury’s, Coop, Poundland, and the Cash and Carry chain - Bestway. Additionally, I oversee one of the export accounts based in Norway. In my day-to-day role, I establish and maintain client relationships, negotiate and close agreements with customers & monitor and analyze sales performance.
While I was assisting with the Line 3&4 automation project, an opportunity arose, and I decided to apply for the Sales Support job. This role was diverse, drawing on my previous experience. I assisted my colleagues with customer inquiries, pricing, reports, sales tracking, and presentations. I also managed artwork changes, led new product launches, and attended numerous exhibitions and internal/external meetings. Additionally, I began to gradually take responsibility for managing my accounts
When I started my permanent job at AAK, I immediately began training as a Grade 2 operator. At first, I filled in for Grade 2 operators, but soon, I worked as one daily. I handled all parts of running the lines and changeovers. I was also comfortable with managing both outside and inside tanks. I trained people to reach Grade 2 standards. I was on a temporary assignment working on the Line 3&4 Automation Project in the Retail department. I also spent three months in the Office (Customer Service) covering for someone on sick leave, showing that I was flexible and eager to learn.
In this role, I covered all aspects of the production lines and oversaw changeovers. My duties included packing, stacking, and ordering materials needed for the line. I also learned the day-to-day operations of running production lines and was frequently asked to monitor the line as required.
As a Cover Line Leader at the production site, I was responsible for running the lines during busy periods. My duties included managing staff, overseeing line changeovers, and planning and implementing continuous improvement ideas to maximize efficiency while adhering to all factory health and safety procedures.
Prior to this role, I worked as a production operator, where I made bouquets to meet customer specifications. I was responsible for sleeving and wrapping bouquets, boxing, strapping, and bucket filling.
