Was fortunate to work on a magazine photoshoot for Hello Magazine with a fashion stylist, covering the Strictly Come Dancing launch. My role was as a runner, bringing clothes and shoes and keeping stock of the thousands of pounds worth of jewellery. Everything had to then be reboxed to go back to the various brands. I had to be very organised and work at a fast pace.
Following lockdown I did a variety of jobs in a busy pub in Southwold, from pot wash to taking orders and serving customers. As my first job in such an environment I learned a lot from my coworkers. I also believe I brought some of my experience of eating out in London to my colleagues, upselling drinks and checking back on customers. Great service meant great tips.

Leadership
I have captained teams to a high standard at several sports, motivating and helping those who feel less capable, and recognising when people have played well Within the army cadets I was one of just 4 in my year group selected for promotion at the summer camp and I regularly lead teams of younger cadets, teaching them my little hacks but learning with hem along the way
Within music ensembles I believe I demonstrate leadership through organising rehearsals, costumes, and even making sure everyone is fed They call me the Mum of the group - the sensible one!
Independence
I have had work experience where I have had to work on my own and with people much older than me, and not disappoint At home I cook meals and help out regularly around the house involving my brother, helping him to achieve basic living skills , from washing up to homework Independently I work constantly organise my work to exceed in my studies as well
Resilience / Staying positive
I take feedback well and then try to improve myself I have had a couple knock downs, one on CCF during the summer, but throughout I decided improvement would be the best way to attack the struggles and I feel that listening to peoples suggestions will help me proceed to be a better person overall At school if I have not achieved where I need to be, I am not afraid to ask for help or attend extra sessions
Army Summer camp was also one of the hardest things I have ever done, but I was determined to get through it, and I did
Communication
I am a strong communicator able to put across my point clearly and with passion I am often nominated within house tasks to be the spokesperson, am on the pupil panel and am now applying for school council I have my radio signaller qualification from Army Cadets and am willing to push through and gain more communication skills
