As Head of student Services I lead on, Attendance and Administration in this large secondary school. My role includes

  • Supporting families, pupils and schools in addressing and improving attendance, enforcing relevant legislation as required.

I joined the Coventry Building Society as a Branch Manager; this further developed my skills as a leader. During this time, I lead our team to deliver some this highest customer satisfaction scores within the branch network averaging 97% satisfactionthis was achieved through coaching, challenge, support and empowerment, building a culture where people were valued and motivated to make a difference.

With my proven track record of team management and my ability to motivate and coach people I secured a role within the Learning and development team. I used my experience to establish skills gaps and design courses alongside key stakeholders that would again provide colleagues with the skills and coaching to develop in their role and to improve the quality of our service.

My final role with the Coventry Building Society was within the Corporate Responsibility Team. I designed and delivered an Employability Skills programme that we delivered to local secondary schools to assist with giving pupils the skills and knowledge needed to take their first steps in to the workforce. The programme resulted in many pupils gaining internships within our company and the wider business community.
