• Performing major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles

• Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes

• Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust

• Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles

• Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled

• Providing repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies

• Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management

• Providing in-house training to recruits and trainees

• Using diagnostic tools such as star diagnostic tool and workshop information system to help diagnose faults

• Registration of claims
• Gathering all relevant supporting documents to further the claims process
• Daily follow up on claims process with the Insurer
• Improving turn-around times on claims by delivering service excellence
• Identifying write-off vehicles to avoid any inflated storage costs
• Creating a client file
• Administrate claims in accordance with the policy wording
• Send and receive mails from dealerships load quotations and claims using TIA system
• Investigate claims using photos sent by the dealership to make sure we are not being defrauded
• Call clients and advise of status of the claim
• Any queries relating to claim administration
• At all times keep good client relationship
• Comply with the company disciplinary code
• Previously administrated ADT fidelity fleet claims
• Ensure that claims item is deleted with Insurer after finalization of claim
• Ensure adherence to claims & underwriting guidelines
• Compile and submit outstanding claims report as per set standard
• Ensure data integrity on all systems
• Attend to general correspondence and e-mails to Insurers according to company standards
• Attend to client queries where it is required
• Assist clients with claims related problems and report all deviations to reporting level.

• Service and maintenance of plant and equipment to be maintained to OEM instruction manual and company procedure guidelines
• Rigging/Mobilization of equipment
• Daily inspection of Equipment (recorded in writing)
• Insure that all service to customer or company owned equipment is completed efficiently, on time and correctly according to specifications
• Responsible for diagnosing problems estimating repair cost, proper ordering parts, proper care and use of tools and equipment, on job safety practice and proper job documentation including technical report
• Work in conjunction with site mechanic when necessary
• At all times keep good client relationship
• Comply with the company disciplinary code, safety rules and working procedures
• Service and repair pilling drill rigs and water well drill rig.

• Analysing problems with engines and rectifying the same
• Carrying out routine service on the engine, including oil and filter changes
• Repairing or replacing faulty parts and systems
• Sometimes integrating new technology into the engine structure
• Rebuilding engines after their efficient lifetime is over
• Conducting performance tests on vehicle fleets, if overseeing their operation
• Preparing and updating records on service work conducted on engines
• Welding and cutting material if required, using arc welding or flame cutting equipment.

• Open workshop doors in the morning and close them at the end of the day
• Clean the workshop
• Clean and pack senior mechanic tools
• Carry out service and repairs on Mercedes Benz commercial vehicles in line with company rules, standards, and safety procedures
• Service brakes, bleed and adjust brakes
• Carry out clutch overall
• Carry out suspension repairs
• Carry out engine overall
• Carry out fault code diagnosis using star diagnosis computer
• Carry out vehicle inspection using service checklist.
