I have a quite diverse background, having grown up within the military due to family serving I have had the opportunities to have traveled and seen different countries. Since moving back to the UK, my dream has been to work within the NHS, since recently changed , I have been inspired to work within the aviation industry. My goal has been reached by having gained experience in customer service and now have the opportunity to study further. I also have a passion for horse riding and ice skating which have taught me discipline, dedication and importance of practice. Ice skating has helped me develop balance and coordination, while horse riding has instilled a deep respect for animals. Both activities have also provided me with opportunities to set and achieve personal goals, enhancing my persecution and commitment.

Working at the Angle Inn as a waitress/pot wash has equipped me with a diverse range of skills and experiences. During this time, I have developed strong customer service abilities, ensuring that customers, and anyone that comes in, receives friendly and welcoming service. I became adept at managing multiple tables, taking orders accurately, and addressing customers' inquiries and concerns effectively.
Additionally, my role involves collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure that orders have been taken, as well as delivering the correct food to the right tables, maintaining cleanliness, and organisation in the dining area. I have also gained experience in handling cash and card payments, which enhances my attention to detail with financial responsibilities. Overall, I started the job working as a waitress/pot wash, and now I have progressed to working behind the bar as well as my current role.
Working as a pot wash for my first job gave me an idea of how the hospitality industry works and runs. In this role, I was responsible for ensuring that all kitchen utensils, pots, and pans were cleaned efficiently and thoroughly. I developed strong time management skills by maintaining a steady workflow during busy periods, and ensuring that the kitchen remained well-stocked with clean equipment.
This position taught me the importance of maintaining high hygiene standards. I learnt to work effectively as part of a team, supporting the kitchen staff. This experience instilled in me a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform under pressure.
