Planned, prepared and delivered engaging lessons across all areas of the primary curriculum, making adaptions to both delivery and tasks to meet the needs of each individual, to ensure all were able to succeed. Effectively using both formative and summative assessment to assist this. Created clear, firm classroom rules and expectations, in order to foster a positive learning environment and to assist in managing behaviour. Worked in partnership with fellow colleagues, drawing on one another's experiences and expertise to improve. Participated actively in staff development training and workshops to ensure continued professional development, ranging from Sounds Write phonics and JoGo behaviour, to effective attention to learning methods. Regularly took part in wider school responsibilities, including running targeted SATs booster sessions throughout the academic year and assisting at school events such as discos and fetes. Collaborated regularly with parents and carers to support children.

Prepared classroom materials for class teacher, to facilitate efficient lessons. Provided additional support to students throughout lessons and small group interventions, planning next steps for these independently. Supported class teacher in managing classroom behaviour, as well as managing behaviour during lunch and break times.
