I have a passion and inquisitive mind when it comes to enquiring about the legal system which has driven my passion to be involved in delivering justice and maintaining order. An early experience that helped drive my passion for law and legal studies was when someone close to me in my life was wrongly imprisoned for the crime of theft and so seeing the system fail a person i care about deeply made injustice feel all the more real and not just a term you hear about in tv shows whilst allowing me to connect to the topic on a deeper level. I am great at communication and putting forward my strong points of view followed by supporting evidence and forming critical statements. Previously, I have been part of a debate club which has given me transferable skills that will be useful for pursuing a apprenticeship in law such as crucial analysis, excellent communication skills, the ability to be perceptive and subjective alongside a strong worth ethic followed my perseverance.
I've successfully organised charity events for countries in need including Palestine, Syria and Sudan and through these initiatives I've honed my communication and negotiation abilities when coordinating with sponsors and volunteers- skills directly transferrable to legal advocacy and client interaction. I have learned the importance of attention to detail, time management, and problem solving especially when navigating unexpected challenges which mirrors the analytical thinking required in legal studies. These experiences also strengthened my commitment to justice and social impact. Seeing the tangible difference that community driven effort has deepened my desire to pursue Law. I've also participated in a debate club. Engaging in structured debates also sharpened my ability to listen actively, respond under pressure and see issues from multiple perspectives which reflect the demands of a legal career where understanding both sides is crucial. Debate has also developed my appreciation for reasoned arguments and justice, reinforcing my motivation to pursue law
