One year teaching training course with Orion Education in partnership with Teach First leading to a PGCE qualification from Sheffield Hallam University and QTS from Teach First.

This was a full-time course comprising of 4 days at Orion Coopers School and one study day online. We learnt about the curriculum, lesson planning, classroom management, creating an inclusive classroom, dealing with children from all backgrounds, including SEND, EAL, PP, LGBT+, etc.

• Initially I trained with BSM to become an Approved Driving Instructor and then worked independently to source pupils, give high quality driving instructions to a variety of pupils with different needs and learning styles.
• Maintained a calm and supportive teaching environment, reducing learner anxiety and promoting success.
• Assessed individual learner needs, tailoring lesson plans for enhanced understanding and confidence.

• Greater London Council (GLC) was responsible, among other responsibilities, for housing, education, highways and magistrate courts in the Greater London Area..
• The engineering department provided services for the design, procurement, installation, maintenance of various electrical and electronics equipment for schools, colleges, magistrate courts and highways.
• These included door entry systems for flats, CCTV and traffic management systems across the London highways, telephone systems, intruder alarms, overhead projectors, cine projectors, audio and video players, etc.

• Delivered bank receipts and transactions from multiple banks across London to central bank depot during night shifts, ensuring timely and secure handling.
• Loaded and unloaded vehicles using manual handling techniques, ensuring safe transport and preventing damage to goods.
• Coordinated communication between warehouse staff and customers to effectively resolve delivery issues, enhancing service quality.
