Lydia Parkes

I am currently 16 years old, turning 17 in July 26.

I am a confident, friendly, and enthusiastic young person with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. I am courteous, polite, and enjoy working with others as part of a team, while also being capable of working independently using my own initiative.

I take pride in my smart appearance, strong timekeeping, and reliable approach to tasks and responsibilities. Eager to learn and develop new skills, i am motivated to gain valuable experience and make a positive contribution in the workplace.

I have a keen interest in childcare and enjoy spending time supporting and caring for children. I am patient, responsible, and approachable with a natural ability to build positive relationships with young people. I understand the importance of providing a safe, nuturing and engaging environment, and i am confident in assisting with activities, play, and daily routines. I am eager to develop my skills and gain further experience in childcare while making a positive difference to children's wellbeing and development.

• In my free time i enjoy going to the gym and socialising with my friends. For the past 5 years i have played football for Knowle girls (currently under 18's). We train in midweek and play matches on a Saturday morning. I enjoy watching football, especially Birmingham City Football Club, where i have been a season ticket holder for 11 years.
