Medical Officer seeking to maintain a full time position that offers professional challenges utilizing interpersonal skills, excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

I am a compassionate, responsible and hard-working individual. Moreover, I am a highly enthusiastic patient-driven medical professional with a keen interest in Urology and a solid foundation in emergency and chronic condition management from my internship and community service training. I am currently serving as a community service medical officer at Mbekweni CHC and doing my overtime as a casualty officer at Mthatha Regional Hospital, which is in the rural part of Eastern Cape.

The experience has taught me a lot in managing patients holistically especially ones that suffer from HIV and TB. I always do my best to stay updated by studying the latest guidelines to ensure that my patients get the highest level of care.

I also contributed in the The South African HIV and TB Handbook in PHC settings by Dr. Ndiviwe Mphothulo.
I have developed strong communication skills and teamwork plus I have adapted working in resource restricted areas.

As a qualified medical doctor, I am committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across all age groups. Being a well-rounded individual with excellent communication skills, I work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, takes initiative, and consistently goes the extra mile. I follow a biopsychosocial approach to health and maintain up-to-date, evidence-based knowledge through continuous professional development to ensure the highest standard of patient care as can be seen from my CV. I have a special interest in women’s health, primary healthcare and emergency medicine.
