Another important factor about me is communication, being clear and working well in team settings and independently are strengths that I have and use to ensure smooth operations with in my work. Following on, my attention to detail and ability to learn quickly also make me well-suited to support office and out of office functions effectively. I have learnt over time to be a well organised clerk with a strong background in administrative tasks and office management. I am capable of exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient workflow. Finally, I persevere in managing schedules, handling correspondence, and providing outstanding customer service. This position involved managing my own area and time, while working alongside the other members of the management team. It also involved ensuring that we deliver a great service to our customers. A big part of my role was to be responsible for any items or parcels that needed to go to a customer, ensuring they were sent to the customers in good condition, that they were receiving what they ordered, and that they were receiving good customer service from the delivering driver. Speaking to and having interactions with customers, whether it is through phone, email, or in person, is another significant part of being a goods on hold clerk; most interactions with customers occur due to them receiving their parcel or purchase, and having items missing, or receiving a damaged item. One of my responsibilities was to amend that issue and ensure the customer received what they needed, whether it was locating the missing item. However, the position of a Goods on Hold Clerk also involved security management and a high level of attention to ensure that missing items are accounted for, missing contents are located on time, and if there are any forms of suspicious activity, to act immediately but efficiently, without jumping to conclusions and without over-comprehending situations.
