- In this role, I have designed systems and products for multiple external project stakeholders, considering manufacturing processes, installation, and material selection.
- I conduct pressure testing with both hydraulic equipment and finite element analysis. This testing is performed on aluminium, stainless steel, and carbon composite pressure vessels as well as pipework.
- While working in accordance with strict standards set by the BSI and FIA, I have designed many bespoke fire extinguisher systems that have been integrated into race cars, from inception to final homologation.
- When designing parts, I communicate with off-site manufacturers as well as our on-site factory.
- I review current products and have implemented new, more cost-effective parts into current designs.
