  • I left my role at Essar Stanlow working as a contractor for Veolia to broaden my knowledge within the business and network with other operational contracts.
  • I now look after over 50 sites in the north west and have extended my duties to London and Birmingham to focus on district heating contracts.
  • IWE (Industrial, Water & Energy) is the business line I currently work for.
  • On a daily basis I travel to various Veolia and Client sites such as Bentley Motors, Kraft Heinz, Astrazeneca & BAE Systems, to complete audits and prepare our operational managers for compliance audits with LRQA.
  • I deliver training to operational teams such as internal safety courses such as manual handling & working at height refreshers. I take part in all investigations from close calls to serious accidents.
  • I present updates and safety stats to all the general managers within our business line and attend weekly client meetings.
  • I am strongly involved in projects within the company to help innovate the way we work in the future.

  • I then got promoted within the company therefore gained my experience on the petrochemical site in the 5 years of working there.
