Undertake the role of scrub nurse for several different procedure including Nephrostomy insertion and replacement, Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram, Angioplasty, Hysterosalpingogram, maintaining air way for consciously sedated patients and biopsies lung, liver, breast.
To administer medications including sedative medications. Ordering and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
Escalate patient care in a timely manner, and lead medical emergency within the department.
Link nurse for infection control for the department, which includes all departments MRI, Ultra sound, IR and CT.
