I am a highly motivated, well organized individual with experience in a variety of administration roles within the NHS and customer service environments. I pride myself on having a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively within a team and on my own initiative as required. I am committed with excellent attention to detail. I am able and used to working in a fast paced busy environment working well under pressure to ensure all duties are carried out to the highest level always putting patients first.
Throughout my NHS career I have taken on several key responsibilities, for instance during my time as a shift leader at a GP surgery, I supervised the reception team, managed staff and clinical rotas, approved annual leave and facilitated communication between the GP's, nursing staff and admin team. I also led team meetings and huddles to ensure effective collaboration.
In my current role, I am the senior member of the team within the admin department and colleagues often turn to me for guidance and support. I am also entrusted with providing regular training to new members of the team to enhance their knowledge, aiming to improve our performance and capabilities as a department. I also represent the team in meetings and address any concerns raised by my colleagues.
I recognise that growth is a continual process, and I am eager to learn and improve further. With your support and the guidance of the team,
and my knowledge and experience I strongly believe this will enable me to progress to taking the next step in my NHS career making a strong positive impact to the services of an organization.
