FUNDRAISING AND ALUMNI CONVENOR
GLASGOW UNIVERSITY NETBALL CLUB
05.2024 - 05.2025
Elected as Glasgow University Netball Club's voluntary fundraising and alumni convenor by the club members.
I was solely responsible for raising funds for the club and charities throughout the year by organising and leading different fundraising events.
Successfully led a club Ceilidh, the organisation and sale of club merchandise, an end of year club Ball, and held various other club events throughout my time in the role.
For charity, I conducted a food drive in the lead up to Christmas- which was very successful, securing lots of needed donations for our local food bank. I also co-organised a charity tournament, where we had 12 non- netball teams participate. Alongside raising great funds for charity, this greatly strengthened my event planning skills.
I set up a Facebook group to create an alumni network for previous club members to join. This aimed to foster cohesion between past club members and the current events going on within the club.
I was responsible for managing and keeping track of payments- using spreadsheets for organisation and keeping track via banking apps.
This role was hugely beneficial to my development, and it challenged me in the best way possible. It further strengthened my time management skills, completing the role alongside my studies and part time job. I have become confident in organising different events for large numbers of people.
SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN
WHITEINCH COMMUNITY COUNCIL
10.2023 - 02.2024
I completed a 12 week internship (approximately 2 hours per week) focused on analysing and developing the website and social media presence of a local community council so that their engagement levels would increase.
I assessed the existing website and social media platforms and identified areas which needed improvement before creating a project plan of how to achieve these goals.
I looked at social media platform analytics to understand who the audience was for each platform and what types of content the different audiences were interacting with most.
Using Canva, I created examples of different types of content which would be most suited to post on the different platforms.
I successfully created a new logo for the community council, which they chose to adopt and align with.
I produced a final report and powerpoint presentation where I presented my findings from the internship project.
DAY OF WORK EXPERIENCE
GLASGOW CITY CHAMBERS
02.2024 - 02.2024
Thanks to contacts I met through my internship I was able to undertake a day's work experience at the City Chambers, where I shadowed a Glasgow City Councilor.
On the day I had the opportunity to sit through a meeting of the 'Net Zero and Climate Progress Monitoring City Policy' committee. Sitting in on this discussion provided valuable insights into how the city is planning, tracking, and implementing its climate goals. I found it particularly interesting to see how data and policy intersect to drive sustainable progress.
I was also able to review several policy briefs, take detailed notes from them, and contribute my opinion on the matters.
INSTORE TEAM MEMBER
DOMINOS PIZZA
04.2022 - 06.2023
Provided excellent customer service by taking orders in-person, over the phone, and online, and ensuring orders were accurate and delivered on time.
Managed payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
Always maintained cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the working areas.
Worked well alongside the other team members in a fast-paced environment to ensure orders were successfully sent out quickly, even at peak times.
Worked well under pressure, maintaining efficiency, calmness and high standards- even whilst multitasking different aspects of the job.

- I am a keen netball player and for the past four years I have competed at a high level in the BUCS leagues, representing my university as part of the performance squads. Alongside this University league, I have also been competing in the local Glasgow league which has allowed me to further develop my game and play more of the sport I love. In my third year of University I undertook a leadership role as captain of the BUCS 3s team. This role came with a sense of responsibility to make the best decisions for my team, but this was a pressure I thrived under and thoroughly enjoyed. I also felt the role encouraged the younger girls to look up to me as someone they could trust and rely on.
Accomplishments
I have been awarded both my Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh awards.
