Working at Surrey Sports Park, I lead sessions that included teaching children how to climb and to use equipment safely. I also helped with distributing equipment to other climbers as well as speaking to parents and explaining how sessions are run. From this, I developed greater communication and leadership skills.
Gosden House is a school for children with special educational needs, as part of a team, I worked alongside other teachers to help classes run smoothly. This ensured that each child was able to participate in lessons effectively. I needed clear communication skills to ensure that the children could understand instructions and follow the classroom activities.
