- Designed the curriculum across Years 1 and 2 to meet the diverse context of the Bahamas and exceed expectations of the Cambridge International curriculum.
- Raised the profile of mathematics within the school and implemented a rigorous curriculum, using resources from White Rose Maths, NRich and learning from my MEd in Mathematics Education.
- Led a team of four members of staff to provide an excellent educational experience to all children in Key Stage 1. I developed staff training (formative assessment, effective questioning), appraisals and observations to enable excellent professional development for my team.
- Developed IEPs for a number of children across Key Stage 1.
- Worked alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure excellent safeguarding practices were upheld at all times.
- Implemented the 'Read Write Inc' phonics programme which has yielded excellent reading and writing progress for all children across the phase.

- Supported all children to make excellent academic progress. By the end of the year, over 80% of the children had achieved "Outstanding" in the Cambridge International Curriculum examinations, in Mathematics, English and Science. Was frequently invited to return to schools and, after working at Cottenham Primary School, was offered a permanent position for the following academic year.
