

As a neurodiverse individual, I have always been the person who thrives with something practical and creative. Usually, my skills are best used when it comes to having face to face interactions on the job, this could be with customers or consumers or with other colleagues and this is due to my sympathetic and caring nature. With every task I am assigned, I strive to complete to the best of my ability as I am a determined to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges due to the desire to succeed in everything I do. With this in mind, I am not scared to 'fail' as I face and view each task or piece of work I do as experience and a new thing learnt.
As well as this, I am an extremely grounded person who will always strive to be the best version of myself as a colleague and employer wholly.
During this year of working for the Co-Op, I have perfected my customer service skills and have learnt that I am a natural empath when it comes to individuals. As I spend a lot of time with customers, I have developed a skill of catering to each customers need while ensuringI complete my tasks to a high standard.
I really enjoy working with a variety of different customers as you really develop a nature of how to read, and understand them which I think is significant when dealing with individuals.
I have also learnt how to stay professional and calm when faced with a challenging or heated scenario which again, is also imperative when you are working.
As well as this, I am able to work well in a team to make sure the store has met the expectations and needs as well as every customers.
During my time working at Pendley Manor hotel, I was introduced to the world of hospitality.
As this was my first job, it was quite a challenge to adapt to the fast paced environment which it is but I learnt that I easily learn and overcome new concepts efficiently which I didn't know before. I have taken this skill to every job I have have since.
During this job these were the tasks which I was assigned and made sure was completed to the best of my ability as well as the skills I picked up along the way.
