Summary

I recently gained work experience at Drayton Manor, working alongside the zoology department. Here, I helped administer medication, manage habitats, and monitor behaviour across a range of animals, while also developing teamwork skills by working with diverse groups and strengthening my public relations skills. I am hardworking and motivated to achieve my goal of working in the animal industry. I can adapt to my environment and work well in teams and independently. Throughout my education, I have always wanted to achieve the best results possible, and I would like to continue to develop my knowledge and skills by gaining experience in veterinary work and caring for a wide range of animals. I recently completed a first-class (Hons) Bachelor's degree at Derby University in Animal Management (zoo and wildlife), where veterinary science was a focal point. I achieved distinctions across all subjects, learning about key health symptoms, treatments and preventatives. I would love the opportunity to gain valuable experience in developing these skills and gaining knowledge in veterinary procedures.
