As a night worker, I worked as part of a team of four but had my own responsibility of cleaning the food preparation areas within the stringent criteria set out withing the food health and safety guidelines
I also learned how to speak face to face with customers taking orders both via the computerised system and face to face and delivering the orders to the customer
I learned to prepare all parts of a food order and package them up to the correct standard required by the company
At times I also had to mitigate potential conflict when dealing with, or between, customers
Once the initial training had been completed, I often worked without direct supervision for most of my shift.
