  • I took care of all standard nursery duties, establishing and maintaining a safe play environment during covid whilst enabling both parents to be able to work from home during lockdown.

  • From Sept 2017-July 2018 I worked in a y4 class supporting a child on a 1-1 basis who had recently moved to England from Brazil. He couldn’t speak English and had a diagnosis of autism and global delay.
  • Working with various teachers to deliver a curriculum he could access at his own level of understanding. I would help him deal with emotions, support him to interact with his peers and keep him safe in an unfamiliar environment.
  • In September 2018 I was transferred into y3 to support the class as a general TA. Duties include reading daily with children, supporting children in their learning and supporting the teacher where necessary, leading small group sessions to bolster children's phonics and numeracy skills and playground supervision.
  • In September 2019 I moved with the y3 class into y4 and continued to support them. I continued this support in any way that was required during the pandemic as we split into bubbles for children of key workers who continued to come into school instead of learning at home.

  • In Nov 2002, I went on maternity leave at the same time as Kiran’s mum. It was agreed that when mum returned to work I would also, bringing my son along with me.
  • I returned in Aug 2003 caring for Kiran, his new sister, Maia and my son too until July 2004 at which point I went on maternity leave again.
