• Information Governance Lead: writing and implementing 10 company policies. Staff training and yearly completion of the NHS IG toolkit
• Collaboration with Dick White Veterinary Specialists to provide surgical treatment for mitral valve disease in canines.

• Duty Perfusionist: Responsible for appropriate staffing level and delegation of tasks. Liaising with theatre and ICU coordinators to ensure efficiency in patient care.

• Completed the PGDip and MSc in Perfusion Science
• Developed proficiency in the conduct of CPB (valve, coronary, PTE, transplant and aortic surgery) VAD, ECMO, IABP, cell salvage
• Full participation in an on-call rota
• Member of the ECMO retrieval team
• Supervision and mentorship of trainee Perfusionists
• Regular professional development to keep updated on best practice
• Participation in staff meetings to discuss protocol and departmental organisation.
• Developed good working relationships with members of the interdisciplinary team and representatives of external companies

Registered Veterinary Nurse prior to moving into Perfusion. Duties included radiography, laboratory testing of samples, client consultations, medication and fluid therapy, monitoring anaesthesia, ward and theatre nursing.
