Currently working as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, I have a strong academic background, and well-developed communication and organisational skills. Proficient in supporting students with diverse needs and collaborating with educators to create tailored educational plans. Skills in behavioural management, crisis intervention strategies and conflict resolution. Committed to making a positive impact on students' academic and personal growth.
I have lived experience of addiction and have undergone some training in Alcohol and Drug Awareness at Level 1. I am currently taking further training in this area to Level 3. I have some volunteer work experience with CGL (Change Grow Live) in Ashton and am keen for a career move into this area of work. I believe I have many transferable skills from my work in education that will be valuable.
I worked here initially part-time and then in conjunction with the Gala Theatre (see above) from April 2005. Finally moved to the Gala full-time when the funding for this position ceased in Jan 2006.
