Strategic Leadership and Governance: Working with the DAFNE Board to set DAFNE's short, medium and long term strategic aims, ensure financial stability, and maintain DAFNE's reputation as a trusted, credible source of diabetes education for health care professionals and people with diabetes.
Quality assurance: Working with the central DAFNE team and the 110 hospital trusts which make up the DAFNE consortium to ensure DAFNE materials are evidence based and of the highest quality. Overseeing the annual audit of results to ensure DAFNE continues to be safe and effective.
Representation and Networking: Representing the DAFNE program at national conferences and with leading stakeholder organisations.
DAFNE overseas: Working with international organisations and health departments to increase the delivery of DAFNE globally.
