Interests

I have a great interest in nature and being outdoors in my free time. I was a committee member of a local countryside society for six years from 2009, taking on the role of vice chairman for a term. I regularly took notes in committee meetings and enjoyed assisting in running a Young Naturalists group at which we taught children between the ages of five and fifteen about nature. I set up and maintained the society’s website and social media page for several years. I was also a committee member, and treasurer, of Ottringham Computer Club from 2002 to 2010. There I processed cheques and kept orderly accounts, compiling reports to strict deadlines. I now restrict my outdoor activities to gardening and looking after my pets but still love nature.
