  • Read and used the NHS National Framework to secure FULL healthcare funding for an extremely ill and disabled family member.
  • Removed the risk of £90,000 a year crippling social care bills
  • Ensuring the NHS complied to its own Framework and guidelines and reducing the risk associated with the NHS working outside of its own Framework.
  • Used the NHS Framework contents for a family member during a discharge meeting with senior hospital staff to prove that r full NHS funding was needed.
  • Looked at and analysed NHS decision making tools, the loop holes used by the CCG to get out of funding health care and took on the local Continuing Healthcare Team in person and at meetings
  • Using and implementing the Framework and NHS Constitution has lead to securing 2 X fully funded carers (tier 1 and 3) at home

  • Making sure that an autistic family member was given his EHCP when it was refused by NHS panel members
