Louise Adkins

My background in both nursing and acupuncture has enhanced my critical thinking abilities by challenging me to analyse complex medical cases, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and make informed decisions under pressure.

Through hands-on clinical experiences and coursework focused on person centred care, I have learned how to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, show empathy towards their struggles, and advocate for their needs. I am well organised and adapt to challenges with both enthusiasm and resilience.

CAREER GAP - 03/2020 - Present.

• I have been out of paid employment since the Covid Pandemic, but have used this time effectively.
• From 2021-2023 i project managed a large home extension, dealing with different workforce daily, creating and re-adapting a schedule of work as well as making on the spot decisions.
• 2023-2024 Attended a work placement within a GP practice, which allowed me to interact with clients/patients again and build confidence ready to return to employment.

I am looking to secure a challenging new role where skills, knowledge and previous experience can be applied.
