Working at Nellie Mays food truck I learnt many valuable skills necessary to provide customer satisfaction and improve the reputation of a business. When working I was focused on taking orders from customers, handling cash and cooking burgers and hot dogs as well as frying fish and chips. These jobs helped me build confidence in front of customers allowing me to hold friendly conversations with customers and staff, creating a positive and upbeat environment. When handling and cooking customers' orders I understood how to maintain a clean and hygienic working space to maximise the quality of the food as well as a productive environment. Due to the nature of this job I spent the majority of my time working as a part of a team, growing my teamwork skills, allowing me to be more productive when working with other members of staff.
