Summary
I am currently a recycling consultant at CIRCPACK by Veolia working with multinational brand owners and packaging manufacturers to improve the recyclability of their packaging. I have refined my organisational and communication skills along with an aptitude for problem-solving throughout previous work placements and my degrees. Driven by a passion for recycling, EPR and waste management within the context of the UK excites me to be part of the RAM advisory group.

- Provide recyclability certification and audit reports for FMCG companies. Additional consultancy projects require detailed project plans with clear milestones, stakeholder engagement and technical Design for Recycling (DfR) knowledge.
- Support the development of CIRCPACK's 2025 DfR guidelines, covering fibre, metal and glass. This entails alignment with industry-led consortiums such as 4evergreen, and covers Collection, Sorting, Reprocessing and Application.
- As a Recyclass approved auditor, I have delivered several assessments and certifications for all plastic polymers and lead the note taking/coordination of monthly Recyclass x CIRCPACK meetings.
- This role has also allowed me to develop our ReCoRe platform which allows users to compare the maturity of recycling infrastructure, EPR and DRS schemes across 71+ countries. Support customers in regards to their obligations (EPR, marketing and otherwise) within EU27+3. Lead the design of the PPWR and Green Claims infographics.
- Consistent use of OPRL's RAT tool to understand how packaging would act within the UK landscape, in alignment with the RAM.
- Identified areas for improvement in the team, enhancing overall efficiency such as a streamlined invoicing process, creation of a bespoke CRM system and a knowledge hub.

- I both introduced and refined internal operational processes associated with EV procurement, charging infrastructure and carbon impact reporting alongside Veolia UK's fleet decarbonisation working group.
- Several site visits enabled me to better understand the challenges, and opportunities, presented by waste collection logistics.
- In addition, exploring emerging electrification technologies and analysing the market offering has enabled me to refine my research and presentation skills.
